Walk-In Consultations
Meet with a business consultant to have your business or pre-venture questions answered and discuss the challenges and opportunities of business ownership.
No appointments necessary for these sessions and there is no charge to participate.
Starting/Expanding a Small Business
During classes taught by Southwest Initiative Foundation (SWIF) and SBDC staff, entrepreneurs can learn how to research and prepare a business plan to determine whether a business idea is feasible, marketable and profitable and learn about available financing options.
There is no charge to participants.
Small Business Management Program
This program is offered through Ridgewater College and Minnesota West Community & Technical College is designed to assist entrepreneurs in achieving their goals through improved management, organization and operation of their businesses. These classes also help develop decision-making skills and processes while providing entrepreneurs knowledge of economic principles.
