Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) has a chapter at Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) in Marshall. This chapter has created projects including “Cards Across Cultures,” which teaches underprivileged children from across the world the basics of free enterprise and “Saving With SIFE,” a curriculum that teaches third grade students the importance of saving money and how savings accounts work. "Let's Get To Business" works with fifth grade students to start and run a business. SMSU's chapter has been nationally ranked among the top eight in the nation for its creative work.
